RESTORATION OF SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS

I am Alan F Cross, and I am the webmaster for the Thorpe Grammar School Association through Heathfield Studios. Heathfield Studios specialises in digital imaging - everything from photographic restoration and manipulation to graphic design and image-rich web sites.

Your personal old school photographs (prints or slides) can be restored, enhanced or manipulated to your exact requirements.

Possibilities include:

• Restoration of faded, badly exposed or damaged photographs, or reprinting from your original negatives
• Enlargement of small prints to suit the frame of your choice
• Custom mounts to match your new or old print to a specific frame
• Combination of two or more images into one print
• Conversion of colour to sepia (any tone) or black & white
• Addition of captions - from simple titles (when, where, who) to full descriptions, either within or above/below the image

All prints are produced on a Kodak dye sublimation printer. The prints have the look and feel of a traditional photograph, and are protected by an invisible transparent layer after the image is laid down.
