I have been a computer professional for all of my working life, since graduating in 1966 (BSc physics), and am a Chartered Engineer (Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology).
In 1994 I moved from an employed position in television to work for myself as a computer systems consultant, at the same time developing skills in digital photography and web design. In 1996 I launched Heathfield Studios as part of ProAxis, offering photographic restoration, manipulation and enhancement services. I have had a lifelong interest in photography, and acquired admission to Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) in March 2004.
My web services are based on a simple philosophy: present a clear message in an attractive setting, at an affordable price. I look to non-profit organisations and small businesses for the core of my customers, who appreciate the flexibility of the offering and the fast maintenance turn-round that I can offer.
Computer consultancy extends from mainframes to laptops, including application development and networking. Services have been provided to the UK television industry and to a major US computer corporation.
